Cricket · All-Rounder
CURVA Coach understands exactly what All-Rounder demands physically. Your programme is built around those demands — not a generic template.
Get my CoachThe four physical qualities that define performance at this position — and why they matter.
All-rounders must be physically prepared for both disciplines — the lower body power needed for bowling and the rotational strength needed for batting. The programme develops both without neglecting either, something generic plans consistently fail to do.
All-rounders contribute more than any other player and need the aerobic base to sustain bowling spells and then perform with the bat in a single day's play. Conditioning is built specifically around this dual demand.
The cumulative load of bowling and batting across a full season — particularly at the higher levels of the game — requires proactive injury prevention work. The programme includes specific resilience training to manage the load of playing two full roles.
All-rounders are expected to be strong fielding contributors as well. Speed over ground, reactive agility and throwing power are developed alongside the discipline-specific training to make all-rounders complete physical athletes.
A All-Rounder doesn't need the same programme as a Batter. CURVA Coach builds around the specific demands of your position — then layers in your schedule, your body and any niggles you're carrying.
Every two weeks, your coach reviews your progress and updates your programme. It adapts across pre-season, in-season and recovery so you're always doing the right work at the right time.
And if you have questions — about movement, nutrition, an injury niggle — your coach is available 24/7 in the app.
